INFO REQUIRED FOR GAME SUBMISSION
Title, a brief
description of the game (3-4 sentences will usually do), GM(s),
min/max number of players, slot requested (no guarantees, but will
try to accomodate requests), type of characters (pre-gen, bring
your own, etc.), any special information the players might want to
know (the game is a Throne War, there is a chance a character may
not survive, very political theme, etc.). We may also want to
note that a GM may request two slots if s/he thinks the game will
require more than four hours.
Game selection will be first come,
first served based on registration date (the first person to
register gets first choice, the second person chooses next, etc.).
We will begin slotting players into games on October 1.

Beasts of Amber: Beasts of the Caribbean GM – John
Karakash Slot(s) – 7 Number of Players –
5 Description – Your beloved owners are once again in a
quandry and you must rescue them again, but this time on the high
seas! Can you face the terrors of the briny deep and survive the
untold perils? (For those of you unfamiliar with the 'Beasts'
games, you play a pet of an elder Amberite... Fiona's fluffy cat,
Julian's parrot and so on.)
Faces of the Stranger
GMs - Jim McDonald and Connie
Culpepper
Slot(s) - 6
Number of Players -10
Description - It's as if you've
awakened from a dream...but you can't remember just what the dream
was. In fact, you can't even remember exactly who you are. All you
know is that you're here at this most unusual dinner with some
most unusual people. You're sure you have some kind of connection
with all of them, be it for good or ill.
Social Hour – Courts of Chaos
Con Style! (Iron Chef meets creative madness)
Number of Players – However
many want to try!
Description:
Competitors may enter up to three dishes. (The more people who
enter, the less food we have to make.)
All dishes should be
finger-type foods...nothing that requires a full set of cutlery
to eat
All entries should serve at
least 15 appetizer-sized portions
Plating is the responsibility
of the chef. (Remember that presentation is part of the scoring.)
Each participant is responsible to plate his/her entry, and to
retrieve and wash the plating after the competition.
Each participant must notify the Con Planning Committee by
October 1 what dish(es) are being entered. (This way, if we need
to plan for any additional dishes to make sure we've got enough
food, we have time to do so. Also this allows us to be sure that
we don't have seven plates of Stuffed Mushrooms and little else.)
Individual plates and glasses will be provided by CCC.
All dishes will be assigned a number. All dishes will be served
next to a card identifying the dish and the dish number.
All Con attendees will be given
a score sheet listing the dishes and their identifying numbers.
Attendees may vote for their two favorite dishes. All ballots
must be submitted by 7:45 on the evening of the Social Hour to be
counted.
At 7:55, the results of the competition will be announced.
The chef preparing the highest-rated dish will receive a $20
gift certificate to Jasmine's (where we will be having dinner on
Saturday evening). In case of a tie, the winners will each
receive a $10 gift certificate.
